Maps of The Woodlawn Cemetery are available at our Administrative Office and Security Booths.
Family Lots: Plot, Section and Lot Number identify Lot locations. There are 116 plots in The Woodlawn Cemetery; the majority are named after trees and plants (Clover, Walnut, Fir, Magnolia, etc.). The map of the cemetery is divided into sectional squares numbered 1 - 216. If you know the Plot name and Section number you will be able to find the general location of a Family Lot. Single Grave Lots: Lots designed to accommodate two burials are called Single Grave Lots. The Single Grave Plots are: Canna, Crocus, Fir, Heliotrope, Hillcrest, Honeysuckle, Lot A, Lot B, Lot 1&2, Robin, Salvia, Summit, Violet, Webster, Weigelia and Zinnia. Range and Grave number identifies grave locations. Community Mausoleums: There are eight Community Mausoleums; above ground buildings with multiple crypts and cremation niches. The Community Mausoleums are: Brookside, Chapel, Garden Conservatory, Knollwood, Lotus, North, South and Van Cortlandt. Locations are identified by room or courtyard locations (for example, Dogwood) and then by numbers that provide the row and level. If you need assistance finding a location, the Administrative Office can provide you with a detailed map and Security can help you when you are out on the grounds.
