he WOODLAWN CEMETERY welcomes photographers, film companies and members of the press to document the beauty of the historic site.  We make every effort to accommodate photographers while respecting the privacy of our lot owners.  All photographers must obtain a Photography Permit prior to taking pictures; commercial filming requires a signed Film Agreemeent.  Members of the Press are required to check in with Security and the Administrative Office prior to photographing the cemetery.

It is recommended that all photographers fax or mail the Photography PermitPhotography Permit form to The Woodlawn Cemetery Administration Office (718) 920-0512 prior to visiting the cemetery. The Administrative Office is not open on Sunday or Holidays; to receive permission to take photographs photographers must send completed form in advance.
